The Mera Nokia service currently in Hindi, is soon to be followed by other regional languages including Bengali, Kannada, Tamil and Marathi. It is very interesting to watch how markets shift and products become cheaper and more accessible with technology… Mobile phones, computers, CDs (I still remember paying obscene amounts like Rs.300 for a music CD, sob!)
Yday there was a sale in Tidel Park where a mobile phone – color with GPRS/MMS cost only Rs4995. And a empty CD costs just Rs 8(even floppies used to cost Rs 50).
yes, I know what you mean… I remember assembled computer sets used to cost more than 50k…. economics rocks !!
