Is it just me or do you find the idea of someone consulting a horoscopical expert with a question like “tell me about Death in a nursing home” very disturbing?

And why this Government posts, title (or) Accident, jail, longivity all in the same line? There is a deeper message in this. I am just too sleepy to figure out what it is.

Then of course, about God being a Desirable Investment option, that must be entirely dependent on whether god is your friend or foe, I am sure.

I now leave you to ponder over this. Come back same place, same time tomorrow if you are eager to know my horoscopical impacts. And if you ask me nicely, I will give Pandit Gurunath B.A.’s phone number too.

  1. This is simply awesome! I am now left wondering if I should invest in God or insurance so that death in a hospital is not such an exorbitant affair…

  2. I’m guessing God would be a long-term investment option. Of course, one wouldn’t need it if one enjoyed the good fortune of enjoying paternal support and inheritance. hee hee!

  3. So…..what exactly are my own “Prospect for pilgremege to holy places, retirement life with family or in elders home”??

I really would like to know……since I hope I don’t have to retire for at least some 30 years, nor do I think I would fit in to an elders home, and as for a “pilgremege”….:-)

  4. God always..ways..ways the best investment option…no wonder, Tirupati, Puttaparti, Shirdi….
Vatican, Mecca..all enjoy the bull run.Gosh Ru, what ammunition you got with that Kaapi
    powder…mind blasting..!

  5. people, I don’t think you are taking this seriously enough. Just remember, if god is indeed your foe, there go all chances of making long term investments in god. and you, sunil can foget about pilgremege. as for me personally, lottery, cinema, politics – all highly godless areas is where my long term investment is headed.

  6. If Pandit Gurunath would say all this in Tamil (or whatever language he constructs his categories in), what would this word God say? Does he simply mean invest in the ‘non-material’ as opposed to the material? In the cultural chasm that we find ourselves in – between languages and categories and modes of analysis that we have learned only to repeat from European settings, but not to understand and relate to our experiences – are we simply expressing how alienated we are from the tools of relating to and shaping our experiences? What astrology is – is it a tool for making sense of the uncertain world of our experiences and a symbolic basis for conversation? – is not investigated. It is simply devalued – perhaps because it does not fit into the categories that we are told (accepted/) we should think within?
